Some Games I Played

After finishing Miles Morales, instead of jumping straight into Spider Man 2, I started playing the DLC, city that never sleeps for the OG spider man game that I had skipped before starting Miles Morales. This was originally released as DLC to the Spider Man game of 2018 and is included in the remastered edition. It has three parts, The Heist, Turf Wars and Silver Lining. The events of the DLC story is set 3 months after the Devil's Breath crisis and follows crime activities led by mob boss Hammerhead. Since I was playing through Miles Morales on my PS5, instead of jumping back to my PC, what I did was to start a new game of the OG game and play till the main mission Something Old, Something New after which we can skip directly into the DLC by selecting it from the DLC menu. The plague tale series is one of the most underrated series in video gaming. The OG game, plague tale innocence came out in 2019 and was critically acclaimed. It was followed by the sequel, requiem in 2022. Now in 2026, the new plague tale game Resonance is out, which focus a completely new story and character set. I have grabbed this game day one and started playing it to see how similar or different it is from the other games and if it lives up to the high mark set by the previous games. Like the previous games, this one is also developed by Asobo Studios and published by Focus Entertainment. While Requiem was a sequel to the first game, this is a prequel set in a time before innocence. The game is available for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. Game of the Month Resonance A Plague Tale Legacy The game of the month goes to Resonance A Plague tale Legacy. It's the third installment in the plague tale series and this one takes a completely new chapter in the series departing from the old brother sister duo story line and stealth based mechanics. So, what better way than to play the Marvel's Spider Man series of games which are clogging up my gaming backlog for years.   I had played Pokemon Champions in its OG season when it came out, but never went back to it after hitting master ball tier and shutting down my switch 2 after that. When I was moving my Mons from the older generation games as bank is shutting down soon, I decided to get back into some competitive battling in champions. I also decided to build a new team for the new season. My Team Choice Scarf Garchomp Rotom-Wash Lopunny-Mega Aegislash Glimmora Blaziken Choice Scarf Garchomp With its speed, this Garchomp can outspeed most common sweepers like Mega Charizard X. Outrage wipes out any pokemon left standing in the end game. Threats like Mega Charizard Z can be wiped out by Stone Edge. Rotom-Wash Rotom is a great defensive Pokemon which worked best as a pivot in sticky situations. Hydro pump was great to keep in check bulky and annoying leads of opponents like Hippowdon.
