Game of the Month Resonance A Plague Tale Legacy The game of the month goes to Resonance A Plague tale Legacy. It's the third installment in the plague tale series and this one takes a completely new chapter in the series departing from the old brother sister duo story line and stealth based mechanics. So, what better way than to play the Marvel's Spider Man series of games which are clogging up my gaming backlog for years.   I had played Pokemon Champions in its OG season when it came out, but never went back to it after hitting master ball tier and shutting down my switch 2 after that. When I was moving my Mons from the older generation games as bank is shutting down soon, I decided to get back into some competitive battling in champions. I also decided to build a new team for the new season. My Team Choice Scarf Garchomp Rotom-Wash Lopunny-Mega Aegislash Glimmora Blaziken Choice Scarf Garchomp With its speed, this Garchomp can outspeed most common sweepers like Mega Charizard X. Outrage wipes out any pokemon left standing in the end game. Threats like Mega Charizard Z can be wiped out by Stone Edge. Rotom-Wash Rotom is a great defensive Pokemon which worked best as a pivot in sticky situations. Hydro pump was great to keep in check bulky and annoying leads of opponents like Hippowdon. Volt Switch acts as a powerful STAB move on opponents like Corviknight as well as allows it to bring out teammates ...

 After finishing the Marvel's Spider Man Remastered, I immediately picked up Spider Man Miles Morales. It's a sequel to the events of the previous game. I am excited to finally get to play this game. My hardware After playing Marvel's Spider Man on steam as I had already owned it there, I saw that Miles Morales is available with my ps plus subscription. So I decided to install it and give it a go on my PS5. I played this one on my living room TV at 4K fidelity settings on the PS5. About the Game Miles Morales is a direct sequel to the original game, also developed by Insomniac and published by Sony. It takes the same inspirations that formed the basis of the original Spider Man game. It's technically a spin-off as we are no longer following around Peter Parker's story, but is also a sequel as it depicts events following the story of the first game.  With the announcement that Pokemon bank for the 3ds is finally gonna shut down, I immediately started going through my old Pokemon games one by one. It was a tremendous effort going through each of the games and deciding which of my beloved mons I should be keeping or not. Gen 1 - Pokemon Red Of course the gameboy version of pokemon red can no longer trade beyond the gameboy. The playthrough of pokemon red I am talking about is the virtual console version on the 3ds. Gen 2 - Pokemon Gold On the same not as pokemon red, my playthrough of Gold on the virtual console was also full of mons I wanted not to lose. Gen 3 - Pokemon Ruby and Emerald My Pokemon Ruby and Emerald was played through on my Nintendo DS. I transferred my pokemon from my GBA catridge to Pokemon Diamond and then used poke transporter on 3ds to get them into bank. Then I was able to transfer them over to home. North American Box Art of Super Mario Bros Super Mario Bros is the game that took the character Mario and implanted him into my head as I clicked away on a computer screen back at my home when I was just 7 years old. Originally a NES game released in 1985 by Nintendo, it is said to be the greatest and most influential game of all time . I can't imagine how platformers will look like in case this epic classic was never released. Till this game was released, Mario was stuck in retro arcade machines through the title Mario Bros released in 1983. Super Mario Bros took Mario and introduced him to the new and emerging Home console users. The premise follows Mario (optionally his brother Luigi too in case you are playing in the 2 player mode) going through the mushroom kingdom to defeat King of Koopas (who we know as Bowser today). Pokémon Bank will permanently shut down its servers on February 26, 2027.  This closure ends the service's ability to store Pokémon and transfer them to Pokémon HOME.  Players must move any Pokémon remaining in their Bank accounts to Pokémon HOME before this date, as no grace period will be offered.  Any Pokémon not transferred by the deadline will become permanently inaccessible.  The shutdown effectively severs the official migration path for Pokémon from Nintendo 3DS and older generations (including Game Boy Advance titles) to the Switch ecosystem. Additionally, Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen will gain compatibility with Pokémon HOME in October 2026, offering a final opportunity to integrate those specific titles into the modern cloud system. 

  So, arriving home after watching the new Spider Man Brand New Day movie, I was having a spider sized itch that need to be satisfied. So, naturally, I turned to the Sony's Marvel's Spider Man series of games that's been sitting on my gaming backlog for years at this point. For cherry on top, Sony was running a steam sale at 60% off on all 3 games in the series till Aug 6th, so I am planning on getting both Miles Morales and Spider Man 2 too. I have written this with no spoilers, so if I am being vague or not using proper terms in this, it's to avoid any spoilers. My Hardware I am playing the game on via steam on linux on my Jailbroken ps5 with a dualsense controller connected because I already own the game on steam. I am able to play the game at 1080p high settings on my Samsung Odyssey G4 monitor.
