Moving My Pokemon To Home Through Bank

 With the announcement that Pokemon bank for the 3ds is finally gonna shut down, I immediately started going through my old Pokemon games one by one. It was a tremendous effort going through each of the games and deciding which of my beloved mons I should be keeping or not.

Gen 1 - Pokemon Red

Of course the gameboy version of pokemon red can no longer trade beyond the gameboy. The playthrough of pokemon red I am talking about is the virtual console version on the 3ds.

Gen 2 - Pokemon Gold

On the same not as pokemon red, my playthrough of Gold on the virtual console was also full of mons I wanted not to lose.

Gen 3 - Pokemon Ruby and Emerald

My Pokemon Ruby and Emerald was played through on my Nintendo DS. I transferred my pokemon from my GBA catridge to Pokemon Diamond and then used poke transporter on 3ds to get them into bank. Then I was able to transfer them over to home.

Gen 4 Pokemon Diamond and Platinum

My pokemon Diamond and Platinum playthroughs were also on my DS and I used poke transporter to transfer mons from the DS catridge to bank and bank to home as usual.

Gen 6 - Pokemon X and Omega Ruby

X and Omega Ruby were played through on my Nintendo 3ds, the console native to pokemon bank. So things were much smoother when it came to transferring my mons from these games.

Gen 7 - Pokemon Sun and Ultra Sun

These titles were similar to the last gen as they also are natively on the 3ds. Moving pokemon from bank and then to home was more like a chore similar to X and Omega ruby.

Done. Pokedex till Gen 7 Complete

With that, I was able to move all Pokemon from gen 1 to 7 all from their original games to my Pokemon Home.
