Playing Pokemon Champions Season M-5

 


I had played Pokemon Champions in its OG season when it came out, but never went back to it after hitting master ball tier and shutting down my switch 2 after that. When I was moving my Mons from the older generation games as bank is shutting down soon, I decided to get back into some competitive battling in champions. I also decided to build a new team for the new season.

My Team

  1. Choice Scarf Garchomp
  2. Rotom-Wash
  3. Lopunny-Mega
  4. Aegislash
  5. Glimmora
  6. Blaziken

Choice Scarf Garchomp


With its speed, this Garchomp can outspeed most common sweepers like Mega Charizard X. Outrage wipes out any pokemon left standing in the end game. Threats like Mega Charizard Z can be wiped out by Stone Edge.

Rotom-Wash


Rotom is a great defensive Pokemon which worked best as a pivot in sticky situations. Hydro pump was great to keep in check bulky and annoying leads of opponents like Hippowdon. Volt Switch acts as a powerful STAB move on opponents like Corviknight as well as allows it to bring out teammates safely into battle.

Mega Lopunny



Lopunny is an all rounder. It can serve any role you give it. It is also a great answer to an opposing Garchomp. Combo of Fake out and Mach Punch can take out threats that run priority moves like sucker punch Kingambit.

Aegislash

Aegislash is a versatile Pokemon. It's ability to switch between blade and sheild forms when running King's sheild makes it act as both a defensive wall as well as a great wall breaker. Dumping all EVs into its attack and running Poltergeist turns mega stones of opposing threats into a powerful wepon. Shadow ball can be used to take down bulky foes while shadow sneak turns situations when opponents may outspeed in a pinch easy to deal with.

Glimmora


Glimmora is a great lead which can set up stealth rock and also weaken an opposing lead down to be easily handled by teammates. Speed of opposing mons can be kept in check by running Mud shot which prevents them from setting up at the start of the battle before we can react. Power gem also make it easy to take out threats like a lead Incineroar.

Blaziken


A swords dance, speed boost Blaziken is a threat that is very hard to counter unless you have something to keep its speed in check. Give it a life orb and it can one shot most threats with just a single swords dance set up. Close combat takes out any mon once set up and opponent can never take advantage of the drop in defensive stats that come with it unless running any priority moves thanks to the speed boost.

Playing Marvel's Spider Man Remastered

  So, arriving home after watching the new Spider Man Brand New Day movie, I was having a spider sized itch that need to be satisfied. So, naturally, I turned to the Sony's Marvel's Spider Man series of games that's been sitting on my gaming backlog for years at this point. For cherry on top, Sony was running a steam sale at 60% off on all 3 games in the series till Aug 6th, so I am planning on getting both Miles Morales and Spider Man 2 too. I have written this with no spoilers, so if I am being vague or not using proper terms in this, it's to avoid any spoilers. My Hardware I am playing the game on via steam on linux on my Jailbroken ps5 with a dualsense controller connected because I already own the game on steam. Service Announcement: Pokemon Bank Shutting Down on February 26, 2027

Pokémon Bank will permanently shut down its servers on February 26, 2027.  This closure ends the service's ability to store Pokémon and transfer them to Pokémon HOME.  Players must move any Pokémon remaining in their Bank accounts to Pokémon HOME before this date, as no grace period will be offered.  Any Pokémon not transferred by the deadline will become permanently inaccessible.  The shutdown effectively severs the official migration path for Pokémon from Nintendo 3DS and older generations (including Game Boy Advance titles) to the Switch ecosystem. Additionally, Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen will gain compatibility with Pokémon HOME in October 2026, offering a final opportunity to integrate those specific titles into the modern cloud system.
